UW-Parkside head softball coach Laura 'Flip' Fillipp will be the head coach of a United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) all-star team. Her USSSA squad will take on the Chicago Bandits Tuesday, July 28, at 7 p.m., at Thillens Stadium, 6404 N. Kedzie (corner of Devon and Kedzie), on Chicago's north side.
This will be the Bandits' first ever game in Chicago. The organization wanted to make the initial contest special, so it elected to play an all-star team, headed by Fillipp and assisted by Clare Johnson.
