The UW-Parkside women’s softball program has added four players to its 2010 fall roster and will begin regular season play in the spring of 2011. Signing to play with the Rangers are Kirsten Luevano (Lemont, Ill./Lemont), Colleen Cummings (Joliet, Ill./Joliet Township), Hayley Schneider (Channahon, Ill./Minooka) and Kyla Walczak (Henry, Ill./Senachwine).
08.17 | Softball
The UW-Parkside softball squad has its 2009 fall (exhibition) schedule set. The team will play 11 games against other schools, two against Division I opponents, Wisconsin, and UW-Green Bay. In addition, the annual Alumni Game will conclude the fall season.
08.10 | Baseball
A U10 fastpitch softball team, the Oshkosh Raiders, coach by a pair of Parkside alums, repeated as ASA national champions. The club is led by coaches Brian and Kim (Vanderbush) Gauthier. Brian played baseball for UW-Parkside while Kim played on the Ranger softball squad.

UW-Parkside head softball coach Laura 'Flip' Fillipp will be the head coach of a United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) all-star team. Her USSSA squad will take on the Chicago Bandits Tuesday, July 28, at 7 p.m., at Thillens Stadium, 6404 N. Kedzie (corner of Devon and Kedzie), on Chicago's north side.
