The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has announced its all region teams for each of the eight regions in NCAA Division II. Two UW-Parkside players were honored and include Niklas Boedts, who was a first team pick and Matt Gloshen who was chosen to the second team.
Boedts, a 6-3 sophomore midfielder from Bueren, Germany, was a major reason the Rangers posted a successful 13-5-2 record. He led the Rangers in scoring with 26 total points on the strength of a team-leading 10 goals and six assists. Three of his goals were game-winners.
Gloshen (Traverse City, Mich./West), a defender, scored three goals and had one assist to his credit in the regular season. He scored two of those goals in a crucial 2-1 win at Bellarmine.
