Ryan Onwukwe (New Hope, Minn./ Fridley Totino-Grace H.S.) has committed to play men’s soccer at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. Onwukwe is a 6-2, 180-pound goalkeeper, who was a three-year varsity player for the Eagles.

Matt Gloshen has made a name for himself on the soccer field. Individual awards came in for him after completing his junior season in the fall of 2009, which included all-conference and all-region nods. And now, another award has been sent his way.

The following is a new award as presented by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The four Wisconsin Division I schools and the one Division II school are eligible to have their men’s soccer players compete for an all-state award.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has announced its all region teams for each of the eight regions in NCAA Division II. Two UW-Parkside players were honored and include Niklas Boedts, who was a first team pick and Matt Gloshen who was chosen to the second team.
