In 1994, the University of Wisconsin-Parkside built the Wood Road Soccer Field Complex to be the new home for the Men's Soccer program.
In 1996, when the women's soccer program was founded it also found a home at the seven-field layout.
The primary competition field lays 120 by 80 yards. It features sheltered team benches, a locker room facility, concession stand, storage areas, an elevated press box and raised bleacher seating for 1,000 spectators. An electronic scoreboard sits on the south end of the facility.
The facility, which is completely fenced in, has played host to NCAA Regional Events in both men's and women's soccer.
