The Alfred and Bernice DeSimone Gymnasium is the home of the Ranger basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams.
DeSimone Gymnasium boasts seating for 2,120 for intercollegiate athletic contests. Fans attending Parkside events enjoy the state-of-the-art scoreboards and video board.
In addition to hosting indoor home athletic contests, the DeSimone Gymnasium is a regular site for speakers, concerts and other entertainment acts on campus. It also regularly hosts Convocation and Commencement activities for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Gateway Technical College.
With retractable basketball hoops and separation curtains, DeSimone Gymnasium adapts daily to best meet the needs of its student-athletes.
The floor was resurfaced and repainted in 2008.
