- To conduct a well-rounded program of NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics competition within a context that emphasizes the academic experience and personal growth of student-athletes.
- Ensure that the student-athlete’s successful academic experience is the school’s highest priority.
- Ensure that team has a quality athletic experience and has the means to compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and NCAA Division II.
- Be a school that has high academic achievement by its student-athletes with graduation being the ultimate goal and has competitive programs in multiple sports.
