It didn't take long for the UW-Parkside women's volleyball team to dispense of visiting Illinois-Springfield at the DeSimone Gymnasium Friday evening - 58 minutes in fact. The Rangers waltzed to a 25-13, 25-20, 25-23, triumph in extending its match winning streak to a half-dozen.

Parkside is now 9-3 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. (See the Rangers ascend in the standings).

Caroline Langer was the only Ranger in double figures in kills (11) in the abbreviated contest. Courtney Stack was the Ranger assist leader with 18.

Parkside hit for a .233 percentage in the match, topped by a staggering .448 mark in Set One. The Prairie Stars, who dropped to 3-9 overall and 0-3 in league play, were limited to a .113 hitting percentage mark.

Next up for the Rangers is a match with Quincy in the DeSimone Gymnasium Saturday, Sept. 25, at 3:00 p.m.
