UW-Parkside was among the elite teams at the Great Lakes Valley Conference golf meet. The Rangers finished fourth out of the 14 teams competing.
The Rangers came in with a 903 total score, after shooting a 294, a 303 and a final round of 306. Parkside finished one stroke ahead of Southern Indiana.
Northern Kentucky won the league championship with a total score of 881, five strokes better than runner-up Indianapolis, 886. Drury was third with 892.
Individually, Danny Lewis of Northern Kentucky was the medalist, carding a 72-72-69=213. He was three under par on the par 72, 6897-yard Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana.
Parkside's low men were
Andy Hansen, and
Mike Keller, who tied for 13th overall. Hansen shot a 74, 75 and 76 for a 225 total score. Keller's count was, 72-79-74=225.
