Coach Mike De Witt had these comments about the Whitewater Classic: "The women put forth the kind of effort and energy I have been looking for from the program since the start of the school year. We competed for every spot we could get and we did that at the front of the races against some of the better DIII programs in the country. This was the first meet of the school year that saw everyone on the same competitive page. This is a young group with no seniors and more than half of the squad as freshmen and sophomores. We will contine to look to build on the results we saw here."
