Men's Team Meet Preview
Missouri S&T enters this year's meet as the defending GLVC Indoor Champions.  This year's meet looks to be a tight team battle between S&T and the University of Indianapolis.  The S&T squad boasts a strong Middle Distance corps and solid Jumping Events.

Indianapolis has an exceptional Sprint group and is very strong in the Throws.  The scoring for these two teams should be within 20 points by the end of the meet with the winner earning in the 180 point range.

Beyond the two front-running squads, Lewis and St Joseph look to contest for the third team position, with the better of the two teams coming in with around 90 points.  Lewis maintains a good balance, capable of scoring in more than 15 events. St Joseph has a strong sprint and throws group.

Southern Indiana is a Distance and Middle Distance squad that will score better than 60 points for the weekend, with Bellarmine leading the group of Drury, UW-Parkside, and Northern Kentucky, with each squad capable of scoring between 20 and 40 points.

Women's Team Meet Preview
The University of Indianapolis enters the meet as the defending GLVC Indoor Champions.  This year's meet sets up with Lewis University with a slight edge over Indianapolis.  Lewis boasts a strong team across almost every event and may be the only squad between the men's and women's Meet that has the ability to score in all 18 events.  Indianapolis has exceptional Sprint and Throws.

Look for Lewis to earn around 200 points with Indianapolis coming in around 170.  Bellarmine has a balanced squad that will score in close to 15 events and looks to lead the next group of teams, although, on paper, the scoring range comes in between 65 to 80 points for Bellarmine and Missouri S&T.

Southern Indiana, St Joseph, and UW-Parkside are all in the 45 to 55 point range, based on seeding.  Drury and Northern Kentucky will round out the scoring.

This is the first year of a full two-day meet and competing on the fast UW-Parkside Petretti Fieldhouse track, many of the meet records are expected to challenged.  The GLVC track teams currently have over 30 men and women that have met the NCAA II National Championship Provisional Qualifying Marks and the conference has been on a steady increase of improvement, when less than 10 years ago only a handful of athletes were earning NCAA II Championship spots. This year could see as many as two dozen athletes advancing to the National Indoor Championships to be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 12th and 13th.

Nine competing schools: Indianapolis, Bellarmine, Southern Indiana, Northern Kentucky, Lewis, St Joseph, Missouri S & T, Drury, UW-Parkside.

Ticket prices: $5 for adults; $3 for students and seniors (60+); children under age 6 are free. UW-Parkside students will be admitted free with Ranger Card.
