The Rangers will be joined at the regional by eight other schools including Nebraska-Omaha, Central Oklahoma, host Central Missouri, Truman State, Indianapolis, Findlay, Ashland, and Newman.
Nebraska-Omaha is the favorite to win the regional is likely to qualify all 10 of its wrestlers to the NCAA II Nationals, which will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13 on their campus. Nebraska-Omaha has won the NCAA II National Championships three out of the last four years, and its team this year is perhaps its strongest ever.
In each weight class, the top four finishers will advance to the nationals.
The Rangers will be led by Craig Becker, who has a 31-2 record in the 149-pound weight class. He is ranked No. 1 in the nation at 149.
UW-Parkside, as a team, is ranked fourth in the country.
