Brian Rosenthal, a first-team all-state selection from St. Paul (Minn.) Central High School, has committed to play soccer for UW-Parkside beginning in August of 2010. Rosenthal is 5-10, 175-pounds, and has played both forward and defender.

The three-year all-conference player and team captain led his prep squad in scoring for two seasons.

Rosenthal plays club soccer for Blackhawks SC, a club which has been a two-time state runner-up. He is also a three-year member of the Minnesota Olympic Development team.

Rosenthal will join a Ranger program which has posted 30 consecutive winning seasons. The team was 13-5-2 last season and finished in fourth place in the 15-school Great Lakes Valley Conference with a record of 8-4-2.
