UW Parkside Track Coach Mike De Witt commented on the performances in Friday evenings meet: "The main team goal of Friday evening was to take advantage of the smaller, yet competitive fields in our meet, to work on race plans and competing hard.  We accomplished both goals along with having a fun and energized meet.  Overall our performances were pretty much in expected ranges and I liked the way we competed across the team.  I think the best way to sum up the meet atomosphere was watching a group of the team finish with some 'challenge races' on the backstretch as we cleaned up the fieldhouse.  We work hard to be as competitive with our abilities as possible, but we want to enjoy being a part of the good tradition of UWP Track."

Next weekend the UWP Track Team will compete at the UW Whitewater Classic.  The Men will compete on Friday evening and the Women on Saturday afternoon.
