Friday evening, Jan. 29, marks the second of three home track meets that the UW-Parkside track team will be hosting during the indoor track season.  This week's meet will feature the COLLEGE EVENTS Sections and there will also be OPEN EVENTS for all-comers.  That means that all ages are welcome to participate in the track meet, grade school through Master's.

Registration will be on Friday beginning at 4;00 p.m. and continue through the evening.  The events that will be available to OPEN ATHLETES are:  55m Dash, 200m Dash, 400m Dash, 1600m Run, 3200m Run.  The field events will include the Long Jump, High Jump and Shot Put.

Interested athletes will register at the Entrance to the Petretti Field House and will pay a fee of $10.  That fee covers as many events as an athlete would like to compete in.

The running events begin at 5:00 p.m. with an OPEN CO-ED 5000m Run and the remainder of the track meet starts at 5:30 p.m.
