Only a few wrestlers made the trip to UW-Oshkosh for the annual Dan Gable Open, but one of those Ranger wrestlers, Luke Haag, won a championship. The UW-Parkside senior won all three of his matches en route to the 184-pound championship in the Kolf Sports Center Sunday.

No team scores were kept.

In Haag's first match, he pinned unattached Matt Halpert in 3:33. Haag then beat Aaron Erickson of UW-Oshkosh, 14-4, and topped unattached Nick Matiash in the finals, 3-0.

Also at 184 pounds, Parkside's Curtis Hines won his first two matches before losing in the semi-finals. Hines then won a match in the consolation bracket before losing in the third place match.

At 149 pounds, Ranger David Edwards went 3-2.
