A U10 fastpitch softball team, the Oshkosh Raiders, coach by a pair of Parkside alums, repeated as ASA national champions. The club is led by coaches Brian and Kim (Vanderbush) Gauthier. Brian played baseball for UW-Parkside while Kim played on the Ranger softball squad.
The Raiders won all seven tournaments in which they participated, and ran their 2-year tournament streak to 13 straight championships. The young Raider teams have compiled an amazing record of 73-3 over the past two seasons, highlighted by a 31-game winning streak They beat their opponents by a combined score of 293-25. Raider pitchers also combined to throw 14 no-hitters which included four4 perfect games.
