Andy Hansen shot a four-over-par 217 for three rounds to lead the UW-Parkside men's golf team at Super Regionals. The Super Regional, which combines the Midwest with the South Central, was held at The Meadows in Allendale, Michigan, May 4-6. Grand Valley State served as the host school.
As a team, UW-Parkside finished 15th out of 20. The Rangers turned in cards of 308, 295 and 294 for a final team total of 897. UWP finished one stroke behind Dallas Baptist and one stroke ahead of Missouri Southern State. Wayne State was the champion with 859.
Hansen's score was tied for 12th individually. Other Ranger scores include Keith Buntrock, 79-74-73=226; Bob Tierney 78-74-75=227; Mike Keller 81-74-75=230; and Andrew Troyanek 78-79-75=232.
