The eighth annual UW-Parkside Athletic Awards were held in the new University Ballroom Sunday evening.
Interim athletic director Tamie Falk-Day congratulated each team for their hard work and diligence during the season, as well as noting season highlights for each squad. A huge hit was an 11-minute video put together by Parkside students Justin Zich and Zak Smith. This video will be made available on the main page of this site very soon.
Jessica Monson of cross country/track, won three awards. She won Female Athlete of the Year for 2007-08, as Jessica Lamp.

Spencer Bursten - Newcomer of the Year
LaVontay Fenderson - Athlete of the Year
Andy Heller - Career Achievement Award
Nic Larson - Academic Athlete of the Year
