Lisa Casey and
Christine Holthus were selected to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference second team, while
Amanda Miller made the grade as a third team member. The softball all-conference selections are voted upon by the league's 13 head coaches.
Casey, a junior, led the Rangers in hitting with a .329 batting average. The first baseman tied Miller for the team lead in home runs with five. Her .530 slugging percentage topped the team.
Holthus hit at a .308 clip and paced the squad in walks with 10. She was UW-Parkside's stolen bases leader with 11 in 14 attempts. Holthus played errorless ball in centerfield.
Like Holthus, Miller was not charged with an error all season. The senior rightfielder logged a .321 batting average and led the team in outfield assists with five. Miller headed the Rangers in RBI with 27.
All three Rangers started all 36 games. UW-Parkside finished with a 17-19 overall record and a 9-11 mark in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
