The University of Wisconsin-Parkside volleyball team traveled to Green Bay to play in their first spring tournament hosted by UW-Green Bay. The Rangers went 4-1 on the day and defeated Michigan Tech University (2-1), UW-Oshkosh (2-1), UWGB (2-0), and UWGB Alumni (2-0).
The only loss suffered by the Rangers came in the hands of GLIAC foe Northern Michigan University (0-2).
"I felt that this was a great opening event for us. I saw a lot of improvement from everyone," said UW-Parkside coach Rob Wolter. "We have been practicing really hard for 2 weeks and the girls were really looking forward to 'bringing it' to someone else other than their teammates."
UW-Parkside will travel to Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago on Saturday, April 18. The Rangers have four scheduled matches against Illinois Tech, St. Xavier, Kankakee CC, and Trinity International.
