UW-Parkside women's soccer player Meredith Novak was tabbed honorable mention All-American for 2009. The Daktronics All-America teams, voted upon by NCAA Division II Sports Information Directors, was released this week.

Novak led the Rangers in assists with 12. She found the back of the net eight times which includes a game-winning goal.

Novak, who wrapped up her senior season this fall, was a first-team All-American and Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year during her stellar career.

She leaves UW-Parkside tied for the most total points in a career (97).
