Three UW-Parkside men’s soccer players have been selected to the all-Great Lakes Valley Conference team. Matt Gloshen, a junior forward, earned second team honors, while teammates Johnson Thao, a senior forward, and Niklas Boedts, a sophomore forward, picked up third team awards.
Gloshen (Traverse City, Mich./West) scored three goals and had one assist to his credit in the regular season. He scored two of those goals in a crucial 2-1 win at Bellarmine.
Thao (St. Paul, Minn./Central) pumped in nine goals to go with six assists for 24 total points. Three of his goals were game-winners.
Boedts (Bueren, Germany/Mauritus) is the Rangers’ leading scorer with 26 total points on the strength of a team-leading 10 goals and six assists. Three of his goals were game-winners.
