It has been a dozen years since the UW-Parkside women's volleyball team posted 20 wins in a season. With the final whistle against Kentucky Wesleyan Friday evening, the Rangers scored win No. 20.

The Rangers cruised to victory with a 25-12, 25-13, 25-12, win over the Panthers in a match which lasted only 45 minutes.

UW-Parkside is now 20-8 overall and 4-5 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Kentucky Wesleyan is 2-21 overall and 0-8 in league play.

In the 1997 season, UW-Parkside posted a 23-12 record. Five regular season matches remain on the Ranger schedule, giving them a chance to eclipse that total.

UW-Parkside's Addie Kramer was the only player on either side to reach double digits in kills. She put 10 to the floor in 13 attempts.

The Rangers hit for a .349 percentage. Kentucky Wesleyan had a -.049 hitting percentage.

UW-Parkside, which has now won five in a row, will play host to Southern Indiana Saturday, Oct. 24, at 3:00 p.m.
