Six teams competed at the American Family Classic, a men's golf invitational hosted by UW-Parkside at Meadowbrook Country Club in Racine. The host Rangers found themselves in the middle of the pack, finishing third.
Robert Morris College championed the event on a blustery Monday afternoon, notching a score of 319. The Rangers tallied 323.
Individually, Jaisu Sockhakitch of Robert Morris was the medalist. He carded a 76 for the par 71, 6,419-yard course.
Leading the way for the Rangers was
Matt Gilliland, who shot a 40 on the front nine and 39 on the back for a total of 79.
Andy Hansen came in ninth place, shooting a 40 on each nine.
