The UW-Parkside men's track team put together a good set of racing performances at Friday evening's UW-Whitewater "Squib Converse Invitational." 

UW-Parkside Race Walking Alum Stephen Quirke earned the 2010 USA National 50 km Race Walk title on Sunday held in Surprize, Arizona.  Quirke covered the 31.1-mile distance in a time of 4:23:03 to edge out runner-up Jonathan Matthews of Helena, Montana, who placed second with a time of 4:23:15.

The UW Parkside Women's Track Team took home 7 wins out of 14 events at Friday's Parkside Open held in the Petretti Field House.  The Meet included athletes from 5 colleges and was scored as a dual meet against Wheaton College.

Friday evening, Jan. 29, marks the second of three home track meets that the UW-Parkside track team will be hosting during the indoor track season.  This week's meet will feature the COLLEGE EVENTS Sections and there will also be OPEN EVENTS for all-comers.  That means that all ages are welcome to participate in the track meet, grade school through Master's.
