INDIANAPOLIS – UW-Parkside second baseman John Brennan has been named to All-GLVC Eastern Division First Team for his outstanding senior season leading the Rangers from the leadoff spot. He is the first Parkside player to be named to a first team since Andy Heller made the squad in 2007.

LOUISVILLE – The UW-Parkside baseball program finished its most successful season since 2007 with a doubleheader split at Bellarmine University on Sunday. Andy Stochl continued his strong close to the season with a complete game 4-3 victory in game one. The Knights came back to win game two by the same score, 4-3.

Rensselaer, Ind. – The UW-Parkside women's track and field finished strong on Saturday to take sixth place overall at the 2012 Great Lakes Valley Conference Outdoor Championships. The Rangers accumulated 52 team points.

The 4x100 meter relay team, which broke the school record two weeks ago with a time of 42.85, bested it again on Saturday. Cedric Ray, Michael Karwowski, Justin Armstrong, and Dylan Rivard broke their own mark with a time of 42.63. That earned them fifth place at this weekend's championships.
