Three UW-Parkside softball players earned all-conference honors as voted on by the coaches of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Outfielder Amanda Miller and pitcher Meagan Shimkus earned second team honors, while first baseman Lisa Casey picked up a third team award.

Only one game was played at a raw Oberbruner Field Saturday afternoon, and that did not commence until an hour and 38 minute rain delay was put in the box score. Visiting Kentucky Wesleyan defeated the Rangers, 12-6. The second game was called off due to rain.

The Ranger baseball team has spent the better part of 2 months, riding buses, not being able to play in front of the home fans, and enduring subsequent poor results. The final trip of the season, to O' Fallon, Missouri, was well worth it. The Rangers took both ends of a doubleheader against hosting Missouri-St. Louis, winning 4-3 and 4-0, in upping their win streak to three.
